Commanded by Brig. Gen. Christopher Schneider, PEO Soldier delivers 130 programs of record and 253 products and non-programs of record, such as essential capabilities from body armor, helmets, sensors and lasers to legacy weapons systems. PEO Soldier has three Project Manager (PM) Offices and one Project Director. They are: Project Manager Soldier Survivability, Project Manager Soldier Lethality, Program Manager Soldier Warrior, and Assistant Program Executive Officer.

#TechTuesday PEO Soldier is accelerating integration with its new Architectural Assessment Tool (AAT) – a government-owned, cloud-based hub for a suite of engineering tools. AAT features a 3D visualization experience allowing users to place end-item equipment onto digital manikins. The tool is deployed in a secure virtual environment via cARMY cloud giving engineers and developers immediate access to information for systems integration and configuration management. PEO Solider held an Industry/Stakeholder Engagement Forum last week in Springfield, Va. The intent of the forum was for the industry to provide feedback to the Close Combat Integration Enterprise regarding Project Polaris. The PEO also introduced its new Architectural Assessment Tool (AAT) to encourage input from the industry about importing 3D models of products into a digital engineering environment. PEO Soldier’s Assistant Program Executive Office (APEO) hosted the two-day event. PEO Soldier recently honored the career of MSG Ryan Becker at a retirement ceremony at Fort Belvoir. MSG Becker's exceptional service, leadership, and competence throughout his career, culminating in his position as Senior Enlisted Advisor, Project Manager Soldier Warrior (PM SWAR), made him an asset to every mission and organization he was assigned to. We thank him for his dedication and wish him well in the next chapter of his life.

Product Manager Soldier Precision Targeting Devices (PdM SPTD) conducted a change of charter ceremony on Fort Belvoir, June 14. LTC William Taylor assumed leadership as product manager from LTC Aaron Pearsall. As PdM, LTC Taylor will oversee the development, production, fielding and sustainment of advanced targeting sensor capabilities to increase the lethality and survivability of dismounted warfighters across the full range of military operations. #SoldierWarrior
