  • We’re excited to share that we’ve received a $2 million gift from the Yield Giving Open Call! The #YieldGivingOpenCall – an initiative led by philanthropist MacKenzie Scott and managed by Lever for Change – focused on elevating organizations working with people and in places experiencing the greatest need in the United States. PEP distinguished itself in the top 4% out of 6,353 applications from every state, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. This funding marks a significant milestone in our mission to expand our entrepreneurship and re-entry support programs for returning citizens. Over the next five years, we aim to quintuple the number of lives we impact, leveraging this investment to scale our operations deeper within Texas prisons, wider through post-release support, and farther by offering our programs nationally. We extend our deepest gratitude to our community of volunteers, donors, participants, and partners. Your relentless support and dedication have been instrumental in achieving this recognition and setting the stage for our next phase of growth. Let's embrace this opportunity to drive more significant change and touch more lives together.
