Being that the AEC Industry is such a collaborative and creative industry, it depends on teams being together, on-site, for spontaneous brain-storming and more productive meetings to happen. Read on from LinkedIn story: "Want a promotion? Don't WFH"... Coveted work-from-home positions may not be all they are chalked up to be. Fully remote workers were promoted 31% less frequently than people who work in the office at least part-time in 2023, according to new stats from Live Data Technologies. Nick Bloom, an economist at Stanford University says, “There’s some proximity bias going on.” Out of 1,325 CEOs surveyed, nearly 90% say they are more likely to reward employees who make an effort to come to the office. Bloom and other experts in workplace culture say remote work tends to be a better fit for those who are already established in their career. https://lnkd.in/ghVRis4n
