    A family lost a father, brother, uncle, cousin and grandfather today. A company lost its leader, and communities lost a Champion. I lost my boss, mentor and friend. Tough day for a lot of people. Rest in peace, Jay.

    Phil Long Dealerships sadly announces the recent passing of Gerald “Jay” Cimino, Chairman of Phil Long Dealerships Board of Trustees and recently retired President and CEO of Phil Long Dealerships. A prominent figure in Colorado, Jay was a trailblazer in the automotive industry and the driving force in transforming Phil Long into the largest privately held automotive group in Colorado. In addition to his business prowess and entrepreneurial drive, Jay was renowned for his philanthropic endeavors and community service. Among his most notable achievements were the establishment of the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center and Mt. Carmel Wellness and Community Center. Jay’s impact and legacy are profound. He was a tremendous leader and a true champion. We can never replace Jay’s brilliance and contributions to this organization and our community, but we will honor him by continuing his passion to be our best.
