It may be summer, but we're not pumping the brakes. ParkMobile participated in events along the East Coast this week. We started at the BOMA International Conference & Expo in Philadelphia, PA. Between networking with real estate professionals and sharing the benefits of smarter parking with ParkMobile, our team had time to enjoy "The City of Brotherly Love." Brooke Bustle Krieger, MPA, and Ashlee Barton led a session at the Florida Parking and Transportation Association 2024 Summer Educational Seminar in Tampa, Florida. The ParkMobile sales leaders educated attendees on the importance of consumer choice and why open market parking is gaining international traction. The American Automotive Association (AAA) is projecting that 70.9 million travelers will head 50 miles or more from their homes for this holiday weekend… which means 70.9 million travelers are bracing for traffic. Cities are preparing to manage not only the traffic but also parking. One of the main challenges cities experience is keeping parking accounted for and moving. For many, the answer is to digitize current city infrastructure. Digitizing infrastructure, parking specifically, creates smarter, more data-driven communities that are better able to withstand and manage busy seasons. This is especially important when 75% of people have been deterred from going out because of bad parking infrastructure.
