Success in Search and Rescue using a BVLOS Drone: Murrells Inlet Team Locates Missing Victim in Record Time The Murrells Inlet team played a crucial role in the search for a driver who jumped into the Waccamaw River after a crash on the L.H. Siau Memoriam Bridge. The individual, missing for two days, had evaded initial search efforts by various agencies, including the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, Midway Fire Rescue, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Despite extensive searches by boat and other means, no trace of the driver had been found until the Murrells Inlet team arrived with their M300 and Paladin EXT. Within just two hours, using BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) capabilities, they successfully located the deceased individual.
