Looking back on an unforgettable Housing Our Heroes event last Thursday, June 27! 🏠✨ We extend our deepest thanks to the providers and organizations whose dedication made this day possible, especially those forging new construction career pathways for veterans. A special salute to all the veterans who graced us with their presence. Together, we connected veterans with essential resources, housing options, services, and meaningful employment opportunities in the construction industry. We came together over a shared meal and the excitement of giving away free Los Angeles Angels game tickets and t-shirts to our honored attendees! Your participation and support truly made a difference. 🛠️ Quincy Lunford Human Works Foundation Westcliff University Century Villages at Cabrillo U.S.VETS Patriotic Hall Tierney Center for Veteran Services Cerritos College California Department of Rehabilitation Kiewit Women In Non Traditional Employment Roles Lutheran Social Services Southern California Mental Health America of Los Angeles IRONWORKERS LOCAL 433 LifeStream Blood Bank The Heart of Ida Veterans Chamber of Commerce Veterans Stand Together Build California Abrazar Inc California Department of Veterans Affairs RCTAA Santa Ana College WelbeHealth #HousingOurHeroes #VeteranSupport #SoCal #OrangeCounty

Orange County Veterans and Military Families Collaborative reposted this
Thank you to the Orange County Veterans and Military Families Collaborative for hosting the Housing Our Heroes event and being our partner in bringing our veteran community together. In addition to enjoying the start of summer with the rest of the collaborative, we're thrilled to have met dozens of veterans seeking civilian employment and can't wait to help them through our U.S.VETS Career Development Initiative. It'll be a busy summer for Luis and our crew, and we look forward to showcasing their success stories on the main U.S.VETS page soon. #ServingThoseWhoServed #HonorUSVETS #VeteranEmployment
