The comfort zone is addictive. But chasing dreams is exhilarating. And I love it. Why? In 2023, I met a fork in the road, and life challenged me with a difficult decision. I had a great role at MoLo. It was safe, secure, comfortable, and felt like home. I could ride off into the sunset on work I'd put in years previously. But my mind raced with questions. What if I'm capable of more? What if I set the bar even higher and succeeded? Should I take the road less traveled and bet on myself? With my expectant wife at home with our 1-year-old, a house under construction 3 states away, and my wife having lost her father two days prior, I decided to make the leap. Playing it safe didn't feel right. I've always loved taking a leap of faith. It's invigorating. It's scary. That's what makes it fun. That's where growth happens. The last time I jumped, I left my six-year career at Coyote Logistics for a start-up. Because of that leap, I crossed paths with the opportunity to co-found MoLo Solutions, a $1B company. I had zero customer sales experience when we started, I'd never been in a meeting. By year six, some say I built one of the largest books of business ever, personally contributing over $350M in revenue. Who knows where the next leap of faith will take me? I don't. But I do know this. Everywhere I've ever been, I've delivered. That gave me the confidence to leave with everything on the line, back against the wall, and know I'll be fine. So, what's next? It's time to build and deliver again. I don't know where. I don't know exactly what, but the only place I can go is up. And that's precisely where I'm going.
