Today, OmniLearn facilitated an engaging frog dissection lab for the bright young minds at MS 224. This hands-on experience brought the wonders of biology to life, allowing students to explore anatomy and physiology in a truly immersive way. It's incredible to see the enthusiasm and curiosity sparked by such practical learning opportunities.
This year was the first time NYS students in elementary and middle school were given statewide investigations to complete in their classrooms. Working closely with educators and school administrators, we prepared students for these novel lab experiences. Many students encountered the task of writing their own experimental procedures for the very first time. Our dedicated instructors curated a variety of hands-on experiments that aligned with the themes and skills covered in these investigations, ensuring that students were well-equipped for the challenges ahead. Additionally, we supplied essential materials to support the implementation of the New York State investigations in our partner schools. OmniLearn had an exciting day out with 55 MS 343 students at the Yankee Stadium! Watching the Yankees play against the Seattle Mariners was an unforgettable experience for everyone. The students had a blast, enjoying the thrilling game, the iconic atmosphere, and the chance to see their favorite players in action. This trip was not only about sports but also about teamwork, inspiration, and making lifelong memories.
Had an amazing day in NYC with 60 MS 343 students! We started with a boat ride to the Statue of Liberty, enjoyed stunning views from the One World Observatory, and visited the poignant 9/11 Memorial. We wrapped up with a well-deserved lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. A memorable and enriching experience for all!
