A big thank you to Travis Rieder from the Berman Institute of Bioethics at Johns Hopkins University for coming to NYU yesterday to talk about his newly published book "Catastrophe Ethics: How to Choose Well in a World of Tough Choices"! Our students and faculty alike enjoyed hearing a deeper dive into some of the topics from the book, as well as having time to ask any questions they may have had about the concepts they had learned about. A special thanks to the Bioethics @ NYU undergraduate club for their assistance, and for co-sponsoring the event with us!
