We very much enjoyed having Barry Solaiman join us today at the NUS Centre for Biomedical Ethics for a guest lecture, where we learned about new developments in medical device and AI regulation in the Middle East. A fantastic talk (by a fellow Northerner from the UK!) and we look forward to collaborating with Barry on future projects and welcoming him back later in the summer.

It's been a real pleasure to have hosted Angelina Tian here at the NUS Centre for Biomedical Ethics for the last 6 months, as a visiting PhD student from the Institute for Biomedical Ethics, University of Basel. Her research on the ethics of using technological interventions to support distance caregiving is breaking important new ground, and I consider myself very lucky to have had the opportunity to work closely with her to help translate her novel research insights into academic papers. We look forward to welcoming Angelina back to Singapore in the future, continuing to collaborate on different research and practice development projects, and exploring new hot pot restaurants!
