Advancing Business for a Greater Washington
About us
Founded in 1925, NVC is Greater Washington's most influential business organization with a mission of advancing business and impacting policy across the Region. Today, representing close to 500,000 employees, the diversity of our community is one of our greatest assets, offering opportunities to learn from one another and form personal connections that help guide lasting business growth. NVC’s goal is to be considered not only a business partner but also an agent of change for our members. We do this through our work in government advocacy, education through events and programs, networking, promotion of member businesses, and recognition through awards. We are proud to have worked together over these many years to build a meaningful association that enriches our community and look forward to continuing that good work.

NVC NEWS: CNBC’s 2024 Top States for Business 2024 recognizes Virginia as America’s best place for business, affirming our commitment to innovation, culture, and economic development. As Virginia’s third, first place finish, and sixth consecutive time being a Top State for Business, we celebrate this momentous achievement. Virginia’s comprehensive approach to fulfilling the needs of the Region’s community, homing in on workforce issues, cost of living and doing business, restoring educational excellence, and building safer communities, makes Virginia the top place to live and work. We won't rest on our laurels as there is still much work ahead. NVC will continue to lead the charge as we all work together to stay at the top spot. https://lnkd.in/eTaUK8zZ
