The University of North Texas received official notification from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board that our proposal to change our Department name from Logistics and Operations Management to the Department of Supply Chain Management has been ACCEPTED. 29 years ago, the logistics program started in the University of North Texas G. Brint Ryan College of Business and it has seen amazing growth and evolution. The new name will take effect August 15, and we are excited about this path forward and all the opportunities it will bring.
