Concern for community is one of the seven cooperative principles. Each year at NRECA's Interact Conference, volunteers bring this co-op spirit to benefit an organization in the community. This year, about 100 people volunteered with Piccolo Farms in Nashville, Tennessee, an animal sanctuary that provides a forever home for unwanted, abused or neglected livestock. These animals have become a huge source of comfort and therapy for the community, and we're honored to lend a hand at the farm. #NRECAInteract #ConcernForCommunity
