The cooperative principles in action! We love seeing our Members come together to help each other out in times of need.
Thank you to Bandera Electric Cooperative, CoServ, Central Texas Electric Cooperative, Inc., United Cooperative Services, Comanche Electric Cooperative - CECA, Grayson Collin Electric Cooperative, Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation and the many others who have sent linemen to East Texas to help restore power to our members. Over 1,000 linemen, contractors, and vegetation management crews from Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma and other states are working across our area. Crews have now restored to 24,000 members following Hurricane Beryl tearing through our area. Some transmission was lost last night which caused some members in Walker and San Jacinto Counties who had service restored earlier to lose it again. Crews are working to restore these areas now.
