Last week, members of the North Texas Commission team attended "Inside the Interim: A conversation with Dallas lawmakers," featuring State Senator Nathan Johnson D-Dallas and Chairman Morgan Meyer R-University Park hosted by The Texas Tribune. It was an insightful conversation about where our NTX lawmakers stood on issues and their commitment to representing their constituents and North Texas in the interim. Water, infrastructure, and voter turnout in North Texas were hot topics at this event. As we gear up for the 89th Texas Legislative Session, we are excited to work with the new faces of the Texas Legislature representing North Texans. #regionalism #NorthTexas #issues #water #infrastructure #voterturnout #txlege

Accessibility: Added 5 more Breeze Urgent Care locations, expanded behavioral health programs, completed extensive hospital modernization and expansion projects, and seamlessly connected consumers to many providers via telehealth. Energy: Integrated sustainable design and efficiency practices into facilities, reducing year-over-year energy use by 2.7%, water consumption by 0.7%, and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by nearly 1.3%. A message from our President/CEO Chris E. Wallace, IOM, CCE: "Today, President Biden's executive order supporting Dreamers and families will positively impact countless lives. It underscores a commitment to fairness and unity, safeguarding family bonds, and it is one that many groups, activists and concern citizens here in North Texas have worked together for years to see realized. "As we acknowledge the significance of this moment for many, we reaffirm our dedication to preserving these gains and addressing the broader challenges within our immigration system by working across the aisle for long term and permanent action for the benefit of families, our workforce and our country."
