Entrepreneur, Business Consultant & Coach, Collective Impact Leader & Change Maker, Women's Advocate, Local & Global Speaker
Believe it or not, it's been 30 years since the inception of Sister to Sister International, Inc. Working with the UN and global stakeholders, over the years, I've had the privilege of advocating for the empowerment of Black women, girls, and marginalized communities globally. As I celebrate, doing this work, please join me at Sister to Sister International's 30th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, September 26th, at the Glen Island Harbor Club. Reserve your seat or become a sponsor by visiting: s2si.org. Please don't miss out on this momentous occasion! Reflecting on this year, I've shared my journey across corporate America, nonprofits, academia, and entrepreneurship with Business School graduates at Mercy University. It was an honor to deliver this year's commencement speech and receive an Honorary Doctorate from my alma mater. Inspired by women worldwide during the UN End of the Decade Conferences in Kenya (1985) and China (1995), that fire still drives me. This year, we're hosting the 15th Annual STEAM Summer Camp for Black and girls of color at Sister to Sister International, Inc. The success stories from our alumni reflect the impact we've made, with graduates returning to mentor the next generation. Grateful for the extraordinary team at STSI, including our Board of Directors, Steering Committee, Workgroup leaders, Members, Consultants, Interns, Parents, and Community Partners. Collaboration has been key to our success! Join me at our upcoming friends and family day, this Saturday to see and hear from our Summer Camp graduates and Reach for the Stars Scholarship recipients. You can register below. STSI is on the MOVE!
