This year, the Yankees and Legends have teamed up again to host the Healthy Home Plate Program at Yankee Stadium. Currently featuring participants from the Little League Raiders, a Bronx-based little league team, this initiative provides youth an opportunity to learn about the importance of preparing affordable, healthy meals 🥗🧑🍳 Kitchens located within Yankee Stadium become classrooms, where Legends chefs engage youth with hands-on cooking demonstrations. Each participant also receives a bag filled with provisions to prepare the demonstrated healthy meals at home after each session. At the conclusion of the program, participants receive their own custom chef jackets, a specially tailored recipe book that displays the recipes they learned throughout the program and groceries from Healthy Homeplate partners Associated Super Market group and Avenue A to implement the recipes they learned throughout the program.

    • Healthy Home Plate Program participants and Legends Chefs receive recognition in a pre-game ceremony at Yankee Stadium.
