The North Carolina Airports Association (NCAA) Region One held its quarterly meeting at the NCDOT Division 2 facility next to the North Carolina Global TransPark (NCGTP) in Kinston, NC last Friday. Progress update! The Fuel farm project is moving forward with underground lines being installed. The foundation pads have been poured and are ready. Next up is the construction of three vertical steel tanks, each with a 500,000-gallon fuel capacity. The retaining wall for the above-ground tanks is also underway.
