Congratulations to Pittsburgh Public Schools for establishing the student board member position on their school board! 👏 #studentvoice We look forward to working with their student board members and welcoming them into the National Student Board Member Association family.
Pittsburgh Public School students officially have a seat on the school board. School directors on Wednesday unanimously approved a new policy that will allow two students to sit on the board in a non-voting capacity starting in August. Director Yael Silk was absent. The vote came a month after directors discussed the proposal during a policy committee meeting. https://lnkd.in/eRP6vHW4
