Bell Award! 🏆 Jesse is recognized for his unwavering dedication to his portfolio, especially while supporting various human services and housing initiatives amid the influx of migrants and asylum seekers in New York City. David is recognized for his 32-year long career in state government and the significant impact his numerous career achievements had on Washingtonians. David is a long-time NASBO member, having served on the association's Executive Committee and as host of the 2019 Annual Meeting. Congratulations, David! We thank you for your outstanding service and contributions to Washington State and NASBO.

Bob Hunt from Jones Lang LaSalle JLL talked about ways to plan for a fluid workforce, advice for successfully implementing new workplace models, and keys to successfully consolidating real estate portfolios.

Elizabeth Laird from the Center for Democracy & Technology outlined AI policy and legal trends at the state and federal level while discussing how AI can affect the delivery of public services.

Members had a robust discussion on challenges and strategies around meeting the upcoming federal pandemic relief funding deadlines.
