The Montclair Art Museum is thrilled to announce that the next Free First Thursday will be "Día de los Muertos" in partnership with Latinos of Montclair! This year, the Museum is celebrating Latino Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15) in a myriad of ways, including adding a highlight section of LatinX artists to the Scavenger Hunt offered as part of the weekly program "Fridays at MAM." Free First Thursday: Día de los Muertos will include a community altar, which will be installed in Leir Hall and where anyone who visits the event can add an offering or momento. MAM would like to thank Latinos of Montclair for guiding us through the process of creating this event, and we look forward to celebrating with you all! Free First Thursday: Día de los Muertos will take place on Nov. 2 from 5-9 p.m. Free First Thursdays include live music and dance, a signature cocktail, art activities for families and kids, food trucks, and of course, FREE guided tours of our latest exhibitions. Free First Thursdays at the Montclair Art Museum are sponsored by TD Bank #FreeFirstThursdays #MAMevents #MAMdiadelosmuertos Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/ePbdzAf4
