MODEX 2024 is in the books — and what a show it was! This year, we went bigger and better than ever before. We unveiled a brand new 2800 SF booth displaying our latest cutting-edge designs for the world of reusable transport packaging. We had a Japan Steel Works America, Inc. machine and FANUC America Corporation robot crafting Monoflo automation containers with In-Mold Labeling (IML) and real-time barcode verification. We hosted a soulful live performance from rising southern rock band and Monoflo family members The Red Clay Strays. And, most importantly, we had a tremendous time reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones. A big thanks to everyone who joined us during this special week!

We have an exciting update on the expansion of our Stonewall facility, located in Winchester, Virginia! The rebar and wire mesh steel are in place, and the crane footers have been poured.   Next week, we will pour the concrete floor and prepare the area for the installation of our brand-new injection molding machines and overhead crane.  Stay tuned for more updates as we transform 30,000 SF of warehouse space into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

The BC 4840 Bulk Container is the latest addition to our industry-leading fleet of bulk containers. This high-pressure injection molded product — fit for a variety of industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and light industrial manufacturing — is fully customizable and engineered with: • Zero, two, or four drop access doors • Optional vented sidewalls to promote airflow and maintain desired temperature • Optional drain holes to facilitate easy cleaning • A 4-way forklift and pallet jack access to streamline handling and transportation • A non-slip, soft-touch locking lid or one-piece lid to protect product and facilitate stacking Fifteen years after introducing the first complete line of high-pressure injection molded bulk containers in North America, Monoflo continues to set the market standard.

This Monday, we are crafting an order of AS/RS 6040 Automation Trays for one of the largest automated warehouse system integrators in the world. This particular automation tray is the latest design that our team engineered for use in today’s leading automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS). Built to the standard AS/RS footprint of 600mm x 400mm, this fully conveyable tray is available with a lifter plate (as seen in this video) that enables easy order picking of a wide range of SKUs. The lifter plate also allows for full carton quantities to be easily conveyed in and out of racking systems by shuttles. The ultra-lightweight, robust tray — engineered to carry and convey heavy loads while maintaining its dimensional stability — is manufactured in polypropylene (PP). It is also available with an additive package designed for performance in refrigerated environments. For optimal tracking and performance within automated warehouses, our internal real-time barcode verification system ensures that each tray has a matching and sequential label set. With nearly 10 million automation trays manufactured to date, and decades invested in the best technology, processes, and people to develop highly consistent, repeatable, and durable trays for various automation applications, no manufacturer offers more product depth and expertise than we do. It’s a #MonofloInTheWild spotted at a CVS Pharmacy in the West Village of New York City! 📍 After thousands of trips from source to store, these distribution containers remain in perfect shape for CVS — courtesy of our next-generation design that is engineered to outlast and outperform the rest of the market. By replacing the metal hinge pin and reinforcing several key impact areas, our distribution container is the safest, strongest, and most cost-effective design today. The 100% plastic design also ensures that these totes are the easiest to recycle. Once these containers reach the end of their useful life, we will repurchase the containers, repelletize them in our state-of-the-art reprocessing facilities, and use the resulting material to manufacture new, superior-quality containers, trays, and pallets.
