About the Texas Veterans Commission: The Texas Veterans Commission’s mission is to advocate for and provide superior service that will significantly improve the quality of life for all Texas veterans, their families, and survivors. Each year, the Texas Veterans Commission Employment Program Staff are tasked with writing Employer Award nominations for deserving employers who demonstrate exceptional veteran employment practices and community support.   MKS2 was granted a certificate of appreciation for its submission and participation.

MKS2 is supporting a special cause for the month of May : Stop Soldier Suicide. May is mental health awareness month and Soldier Suicide prevention is near and dear to all of our hearts. Stop Soldier Suicide is the only national nonprofit focused solely on solving the issue of suicide among U.S. veterans and service members. They have an aggressive goal to reduce the military suicide rate by 40% no later than 2030. All services are 100% free to veterans and service members, regardless of branch, discharge status or era served. SSS is a veteran-founded, veteran-led nonprofit fighting to reduce military suicide.
