"When people think of historic houses, they usually think that means really old, but we need to ask ourselves what we even mean by a house’s history. Is it the people who lived in it? The history of the land? How it has changed over time? I love finding that out for people." MHS Public Historian Amanda Clark shares some tips on researching the history of your home and the land it sits on. One of her biggest takeaways? Start at our Library & Research Center for the oldest map of landowners you can find.

"Target: St. Louis Vol. 1" recounts the Aerosol Spray Study, which tested known harmful chemicals in the Pruitt-Igoe housing community and other predominantly Black neighborhoods in north St. Louis, shedding light on the lasting impact of these actions.
