Our school has become a secure haven for those who choose Utah as their temporary home during their educational journey. The diversity and richness of our student body have not only enriched our school but also the broader community. We are immensely grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement we've received from the Millcreek City Council and community members. This recognition is not just for Lumos but for each one of you who has been a part of our journey. Our motto, “Enabling Success,” reflects our mission and aligns perfectly with the vision and efforts of our community leaders. We are proud to have offered our Intensive English Program to over 10,000 students, helping them learn English and paving the way for their continued education in colleges and universities.  These students typically spend anywhere from 4 months to 3 years with us, a period during which we witness remarkable transformations in their language skills and cultural understanding. Moreover, Lumos plays a vital role in the local economy by providing employment to 150 families through our dedicated staff and teachers. In addition to our language programs, we offer a range of services to the community, including serving as a test center for GMAT, GRE, PRAXIS, and TOEFL exams. We are also proud of our robust TESOL certification program, which has set a high standard for teaching English to speakers of other languages. In closing, we wish to express our deepest gratitude for this honor and for the continuous support from everyone in Millcreek. We look forward to many more years of serving and contributing to this wonderful community."
