Quilt has Launched! Two years ago, Paul Lambert visited Mike & Maaike to talk about his vision to move humanity off fossil fuels by creating a home climate system that isn't just electric and sustainable, but better in every way. Paul wasn't a company, just one person with a strong vision and the type of enthusiasm that stayed in our studio even after he left that morning. In just two years, he and his amazing cofounders Matthew Knoll and Bill Kee have created: Quilt- an incredibly thoughtful team full of amazing talent. and Quilt- an incredibly thoughtful heating and cooling system that, true to Paul's vision, isn't just electric and sustainable, but better in every way. From day one we've designed Quilt through the lens of homeowners, architects and interior designers who care about design and sustainability as much as we do. Here are our favorite features: The Quilt Indoor unit is designed to feel like a permanent part of the home. -straight lines and flat surfaces speak the language of architecture. -meaningfully smaller than most indoor units. -can fit above windows and doors where others can't. -front panel can be painted or wallpapered - just like your walls. -white oak front panel option -an integrated accent light with color temp control The Quilt Dial provides temperature control in each room. -wall-mounted or tabletop use. -screen is angled towards you in both orientations. -rotating dial feels great. -not a cheap complex remote but intuitive and integrated. The Quilt Outdoor Unit is designed to complement outdoor spaces and exterior architecture -straight lines -textural pattern plays with sunlight and shadow -durable metal construction Please visit Quilt.com to learn more and please spread the word to architects, interior designers and homeowners that Quilt is now available to reserve.

Mike & Maaike have been working with Quilt to design the smartest way to heat and cool your home while moving humanity off of fossil fuels. Quilt is launching and available to order on May 15th. Quilt recently raised $33M in Series A funding to deliver a system that isn’t just electric and sustainable, but better in every way. This has been one of our favorite collaborations ever and we look forward to sharing these products with the world May 15. Visit Quilt.com to rsvp to the May 15 launch livestream.

We always strive to create designs that stand the test of time. Our collaboration with Watson Furniture began in 2010 with the Tonic furniture system. Since then, Tonic has become a go-to office furniture system specified by architects and designers for projects in 44 of the 50 U.S. states. While the look remains familiar, the reimagined Tonic now includes standing height and single sided versions, a neighborhood light w charging, floating planters, simplified ordering and reduced material use. And as always Tonic is made in Poulsbo, Washington in a factory that finds great satisfaction in making beautiful things that stand the test of time. #timelessdesign #officefurniture #madeinwashingtonstate #backtotheoffice #furnituredesign #hipawards #bestofneocon #industrialdesign #systemsfurniture #tonic #testoftime
