Anti-immigrant rhetoric is not just words - they have consequences. Hateful words produce fear in those they target. When people are demeaned as a category -- immigrant, migrant - it is easier for people to dehumanize them, often leading to restrictive policies that make the lives of immigrants and migrants harder. Witness to Witness is exposing how anti-immigrant rhetoric and policies harm immigrant populations and the clinicians that serve them.
