This week, we're celebrating the completion of our second faculty skilling cohort, launched in partnership with Microsoft Africa Development Centre! This program featured Leap curriculum and instructors, and brought together faculty from nine Kenyan universities who were eager to enhance their skills in emerging technology. Earlier this month, they hosted a graduation event to shine a light on the cohort's hard work and honor their achievements – we wish them the best of luck and are eager to hear about how they incorporate their learnings in their university classrooms. Thank you, as always, to our ADC partners for their support and continued commitment to empowering educators to prepare the next generation of tech professionals!

And that's game, everyone! Congrats to our inaugural #LegendsCohort2024 on their completion of our Technical Program Management pathway! Our graduating class of NFL Legends (now Leapers!) gathered on the Redmond campus on Friday for a day packed with guest speakers, interactive presentations, and more. Big thanks to Charles Lamanna, Sameer B., Aaron Amendolia and Joe Whittinghill, who joined us to share their insights around the importance of investing in learning opportunities and advice to experiment with new tools every day. In addition to our cohort participants who dedicated their time and effort into this learning experience, we also owe thanks to our incredible team of instructors, cohort volunteers, and collaborators NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF) and Atrium, who helped us bring this experience to life – it was truly a team effort!

Yesterday, we welcomed Russell Scibetti and Ty Siam from the New York Football Giants to speak with our #LegendsCohort2024 about how they’re leveraging technology for better decision-making across all lines of business. They delivered an insightful session focused on how data has changed the way front offices think about the game, both on and off the field. When asked about how to prepare and present data to their colleagues, they emphasized the importance of effective communication: “You could have the best data in the world, but if you can’t communicate what it means – then you have nothing. The key is knowing how to translate technical expertise to all audiences.” Thank you again, Russell and Ty, for this incredible session with our Legends!
