About us
Meyers+Associates is a mentorship-based architecture and design firm focusing on human connection, positive transformation, and sustainable outcomes. Since 1999, the AIA Ohio Gold Medal Firm Meyers+Associates has taken an integrated approach to architecture, with unified architecture and interior design teams that guide a project from beginning to end. This collaborative approach deepens client relationships by developing insight into a client's pain points and goals while offering flexibility as objectives change. This unique method has allowed us to establish a national reputation in projects both large and small. Our design work is balanced by our exacting construction administrative services. Project costs are diligently evaluated at every phase so that design requirements meet corresponding construction budgets and client objectives. From early site mobilization through grand openings and beyond, we ensure the completion of the project aligns with the documents and the owner's initial design requirements.

Designing Local facilitated the successful application for the Ohio and Federal Historic Tax Credits for these three beautiful buildings. Without the credits their rehabilitation would not have been possible and prior to their renovation we were at risk of losing these keystone buildings in Downtown Columbus. Key historic features in all three buildings were either preserved or restored and are now protected for many more generations. We are so excited to have been part of this redevelopment that restores this block into a vibrant and charming destination for arts, culture, and entertainment at Gay and High Street in Downtown Columbus!

Celebrating Preservation Month with the Madison White-Haines building! The project in Downtown Columbus revitalizes three historic buildings, blending them into a cohesive mixed-use space that fills a crucial gap along North High Street, improving connectivity and walkability. This collaborative effort preserves the architectural heritage while introducing modern amenities. Ground-floor galleries and a restaurant bar foster community engagement, with Janet Echelman’s floating sculpture, Current, providing a striking visual centerpiece at Gay and High Streets. Spanning 101,000 square feet and featuring 44 units, the development leverages historic tax credits to maintain the buildings’ exterior facades while updating interior spaces, celebrating Columbus’s rich history and propelling it toward the future.
