A recent global study, Travel Technology Investment Trends, conducted by Amadeus, reveals a significant surge in investment interest within the travel industry for 2024. Conducted in Q4 2023, the survey included 1,253 travel technology decision-makers across the globe, representing diverse sectors such as airlines, travel agencies, hotels, airports, and corporate travel management. Key insights from the study: 🌐 14% Increase in Travel Technology Investment: The travel industry is set to accelerate its transformation with a 14% boost in tech investment next year. 🌐 Global Participation: The survey covered respondents from major markets including the UK, France, Germany, UAE, US, Mexico, Brazil, India, China, and Korea. 🌐 Sector-specific Investment Plans: Airports: +17% Companies: +15% Hotels: +14% Airlines & Travel Sellers: +13% Travel Payments: +12% Future Technological Priorities by 2029: Machine Learning was identified as the most critical technology for the coming years.
