Mirakl has been hosting B2B marketplaces for a decade with some features (like AI-powered catalog importing) well proven for 100+ B2B marketplaces. McFadyen Digital is proud to have helped launch over two dozen Mirakl marketplaces during our 8 years of partnership. B2B marketplaces are popular in 3 main categories:  1️⃣ Wholesalers / Distributors (Cencora, Conrad) 2️⃣ Manufacturers / Brands (Coca-Cola, Toyota Material Handling) 3️⃣ Group Purchasing Organizations / GPO (Driven Brands, Blue Diamond Growers) #Distributor Conrad added 20 million marketplace electrical products since starting a marketplace with Mirakl. #Manufacturer Airbus operates the leading helicopter parts marketplace selling their parts and 3P parts. #GPO operator Accor Hotels manages a large volume of annual spend with their Mirakl procurement marketplace (AStore).     #VTEX Connect Europe was a big success with great content for 3,000 attendees! #Commerce Solutions Architect Lukas Hendrischke, CMX & I discuss some great new (& some well-proven) features of the VTEX "Composable & Complete Commerce" platform. #Gartner's Voice of Customer recognized VTEX as the only "Customers Choice" #Digital#Commerce platform. 98% of VTEX customers were willing to recommend the platform to peers. #IDC's Marketscape recognized VTEX as the leader in two categories: Headless Digital Commerce platforms & B2C digital commerce platforms. IDC highlighted VTEX's omnichannel capabilities that enable operations online, in-store, in warehouses & more with built-in OMS & #marketplace features. VTEX processed 2,800 orders/min on Black Friday. Live-streaming was broadcast during the show. See the video of live sales of Under Armour & other #brands. 350 VTEX retailers drive sales with this fast growing sales channel. Social selling, leveraging influencers & integration with social are important channels for #retailers. AI chat is available to answer common viewer questions & short videos can easily be added to product detail pages. Pick & Pack optimizes fulfilling orders from stores/DC/FC & is integrated with over 2,000 shipment providers. It handles scenarios like replacement/rejection/addition of items & merchants can manage driver schedules, route optimization, real-time order tracking & other #LastMile factors. Drivers can upload proof of pickup/delivery like notes, signatures & photos. Analytics improve picker performance & other logistics. Returns #AI will review photos & descriptions of returns requested by customers & make automated decisions to handle the cumbersome but important #ReverseLogistics of commerce. Data Pipeline quickly & securely integrates commerce, #OMS & other data with data warehouse or BI tools. With GDPR limiting third-party cookies & data, it's very important to leverage first-party data to gain actionable insights. CRO Santiago Naranjo Alvaréz & EMEA/APAC GM Prakash Gurumoorthy kicked off #VTEXconnectEurope by highlighting successful client launches. For example, McFadyen Digital & VTEX client OBI had a great presentation of their #ecommerce & #marketplace success on the VTEX platform. OBI is the leading home improvement / DIY retailer in Germany with $9.4 billion of sales, 645 stores in Europe & 21 million monthly ecommerce visitors.
