Mary Cariola Center is an independent, non-profit agency and is regarded as a leader in providing education, residential programs and other services for individuals with disabilities. The Center was the first in the nation to have a sensory room, and opened New York State’s first group home for children and youth with significant behavior management needs.

A familiar face is back! Brad Pearson has joined Mary Cariola Center’s Advancement Department in the newly created role of Major Gifts Officer. The position is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a range of new and existing donors and prospects. Brad has spent the past eleven years working in healthcare advancement with Rochester Regional Health and the University of Rochester Medical Center. Prior to that, Brad spent more than ten years at Mary Cariola Center where he served as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and Director of Agency Advancement. A United States Air Force veteran, Brad completed his Master’s Degree in Literacy Education at St. John Fisher University and a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education at SUNY Geneseo.
