Transforming lives, one wish at a time.
About us
Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Founded in 1986, Make-A-Wish Connecticut has granted nearly 3,000 wishes, 246 wishes in 2017 alone. For more information about our chapter, visit ct.wish.org.

Jaime's wish to visit the San Diego Zoo and Aquarium had a profound physical and emotional impact. “He accomplished incredible progress we hadn't thought possible. When we returned home, it was as if he had brought back a newfound confidence. He now approaches strangers with ease, confidently answering questions about his wish,” Jaime’s mom said. “This transformation left us in awe of how the wish gave him self-assurance and comfort in his own skin." Create brighter days for wish kids like Jamie. Visit ct.wish.org/get-involved to help make their wishes come true.
