Laurel Springs Farm LLC

Laurel Springs Farm is a 57-acre family farm located near Laurelville, Ohio in the Hocking Hills owned by Eric and Brenda Schmidt. We raise cattle, chickens and pigs, and grow blue berries, raspberries and other fruits and vegetables. We launched our cabin rental business in March of 2017, with our Cabin on the Hill at Laurel Springs Farm. The Cabin on the Hill features cottage style furnishings with a rustic twist. The flooring is a sustainable art paper floor featuring inlaid fall leaves from the property. Originally built by and home to a young Amish couple that moved to Minnesota with their growing family; we had the cabin moved to our farm on the foot of "the big hill" back in 2005 when we updated it to have electricity, appliances and running spring water. We have an on-demand hot water system, so feel free to fill the footed slipper tub and relax in the hot spring water or shower off after a day of hiking and then kick back in the oversized chair, the round cuddle couch, or the recliner in front of one of the electric fireplaces. Enjoy the remarkable sunsets from the front porch which overlooks Laurel Run Canyon from a picture-perfect vantage point on the hill. Relax in front of the gas fire pit or slip into the hot tub for a relaxing soak. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience in the Hocking Hills offering seasonal farm items such as free-range eggs, duck eggs, berries, that you can prepare in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy right in your cabin or take with you to enjoy at home.
