Tomorrow the newly-renovated Michigan Central Train station will finally reopen. What an amazing, visionary project. When Ford Motor Company was first beginning the renovation, L|A collaborated with Eric McClellan/Wylie on Michigan Central's logo and brand identity, as well as Echo Charlie on their website. The logo design was a homage to the building's architecture and — since MC is focused on mobility solutions — a playful nod to vintage public transportation tokens. The entire Lafayette American/Michigan Central partnership was a rich experience for us as we helped with strategy sessions, community updates, key stakeholder meetings, and video content. We are grateful to Bill Ford, Jim Farley, Mary Culler, Carolina Pluszczynski, Mark Truby and Josh Sirefman for the investment, commitment, and vision they have put into this amazing achievement. And we are honored to have been able to contribute in our small way. We can't wait for the grand opening party!
