We are incredibly grateful to the team from CarMax for joining us as volunteers at our Anímate 2024 end-of-summer camp party. It was a joyous occasion where our students, families, staff, and volunteers connected and celebrated together. Such memorable events are made possible by the generosity of volunteers like this and the steadfast support of our corporate partners.

We were delighted to welcome our friends from Comcast for a tour of our offices, where they gained insight into our shared commitment to community outreach. We are excited to collaborate further to create meaningful opportunities for the Latino population in Atlanta, which we humbly serve every day.

Last week we had a great day at Salesforce! Our corporate friends invited us to their offices to learn more about our work and the community we serve. After getting to know one another, they were so gracious as to make motivational cards for our Anímate Summer Academy students to wish them well for the start of a great summer!

Yesterday was an exciting day at LaAmistad Afterschool at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church! We had a big turnout with our friends over at Global Payments Inc. for an afternoon of volunteerism! Our students were thrilled to get help on their math and journal prompts, and with a science experiment of making "Invisible ink." Each grade level worked together to create a secret solution that they then used as ink on paper only to be revealed under the heat of an iron! It was another fantastic day of learning and fun here at LaAmistad, and we are so thankful to our partners at Global Payments for making it happen!

We want to thank our friends over at Bank of America for joining us in LaAmistad Afterschool at both our Trinity Anglican Church and The Cathedral of St. Philip locations for a fantastic afternoon of volunteerism. Our students continue to receive such incredible enrichment from working professionals in their community, and we couldn't be happier to facilitate this budding relationship with our corporate partner!

We want to give a big LaAmistad "thank you!!" to our friends at Accenture for coming out to our Afterschool at The Cathedral of St. Philip last week. It was a lovely day of service and our students benefited greatly from one-on-one tutoring with this superstar group!

We are so grateful for this amazing group of volunteers from OTR Solutions who came to visit and volunteer with our LaAmistad Afterschool students at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. Getting our corporate friends plugged in with our young learners is an amazing opportunity for mentorship by working professionals in their community. Thank you again to OTR Solutions and we look forward to this continuing partnership.

We want to thank our amazing friends at The Aaron's Company, Inc. for donating two brand-new TVs for our LaAmistad Community Center and offices. These much-needed resources will help our staff work more efficiently to support our young learners. If that was not generous enough, a group from Aaron's volunteered at our LaAmistad Afterschool location at Embry Hills United Methodist Church yesterday. Everyone had a blast sharing in the joy of tutoring our students, and we at LaAmistad could not be more thankful for this incredible partnership.
