American Kitchen Cabinet Alliance (AKCA) and Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) CEO Betsy Natz announced a major development in the organizations’ Scope and Circumvention Petition at the U.S. Department of Commerce (“Commerce”). Commerce issued the final scope rulings on Wooden Cabinets and Vanities and Components Thereof (“WCV”) from China that were further processed in Malaysia and Vietnam. AKCA prevailed on virtually every issue that Commerce resolved in the final scope rulings. Commerce determined that the WCV products of concern are covered by the antidumping and countervailing duty (“AD/CVD”) orders on China. Commerce also determined to implement a certification regime to ensure compliance with the scope rulings. Read more - https://lnkd.in/eMr-j3KZ
