What a whirlwind… American Urological Association 2024 annual meeting and the AUA Innovation Nexus Showcase were such catalysts for us. It was an honor for our CEO, David N Constantine to present at the Innovation Nexus Showcase with Boston Scientific Urology Medtronic Pelvic Health Laborie Urology & Urogynecology Olympus Corporation Teleflex BD. We had some really meaningful discussions with Urologists who, like us, see the opportunity for transformative improvement in care with a novel neuromodulation system. Great to see some of our medical advisors (Jennifer Miles-Thomas Danielle Delaney) and meet new friends on the provider side, industry side and investor side. Washington DC, April 2 & 3, MedTech Innovator event was positively amazing. The concentration of high quality interactions in TWO DAYS is hard to match. Hundreds of experts show up, volunteering their time to offer meaningful guidance, perspective and access to their networks. Big week for LSI Alumni with 14 milestones announced in the last Friday recap. Here are two call-outs with fundraising success: 1. binx health raised $65 million Series F financing round Congratulations to Jeffrey R. Luber and their team on another milestone in their journey to transform healthcare through point-of-care Molecular Diagnostics. This round was led by Hildred Capital, with participation from EQT Life Sciences. 2. Juniper Biomedical raised a $2M oversubscribed Series Seed funding round This round was led by Auroral Holdings, a Medtech focused family office, with participation from ATMA Capital among others. Additionally, Juniper Biomedical was awarded $1M through the NIH Common Fund as a winner of the NIH SPARC Neuromod Prize.
