🎉 Congratulations to Hannah Grimm on celebrating 2 years with J-U-B! 🌟 As a Project Designer in our Transportation Service Group, Hannah excels in CAD design and enjoys tackling projects that benefit communities across our footprint. Outside of work, she loves hiking, camping, and cheering on the Seahawks. We appreciate Hannah's dedication to our team and look forward to seeing her achieve her goal of obtaining her PE license! 🚗💼 💚 What do you enjoy most about your role at the company? Working in the Transportation Group has given me the opportunity to work with communities across J-U-B’s footprint, engineering solutions for various projects. I enjoy working in CAD for designing; it’s like solving a puzzle. I am a part of the Traffic Group, which involves seeing projects through the full life cycle, from the planning stages through design and into construction. 💚 What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities outside of work? I enjoy hiking and camping with my husband and our two dogs. I also love sports, mainly football and baseball. We try to make it to at least one Seahawks game a year. In the summer, you can find me relaxing near the lake! 💚 What do you appreciate most about the company culture and values? The work-life balance we have and how accommodating the company is to everyone’s lives is so valuable. I also enjoy the fun office culture we have in Coeur d’Alene; not a day goes by without laughing with coworkers. 💚 Looking ahead, is there something you're hoping to achieve in your professional career? Obtaining my PE license is the next big step for me, as well as growing my expertise in transportation and traffic-related projects, such as roadway and signal design. Here’s a summary of the article: 🌊 Salt Lake City oversees a 3-mile stretch of 48-inch water main that supplies drinking water to the city's east side. ⚠️ Concerns about aging infrastructure led J-U-B to partner with Lithos Engineers for a thorough assessment. 🛠️ The project used innovative loose-fit sliplining with HDPE pipe, reducing environmental impact and ensuring long-term reliability. Today, we honor the historic emancipation of enslaved individuals in the United States. The Juneteenth flag, created by Ben Haith in 1997, features a star symbolizing Texas and a "new star" representing a new beginning for African Americans. The red, white, and blue colors reflect the American flag, underscoring that formerly enslaved people and their descendants are Americans. On June 19th, 1865, Union General Gordon Granger announced the freedom of enslaved people in Texas, marking a pivotal moment in our history.
