Check out our feature in the latest issue of the Georgetown Business Magazine 🎉
We’re honored to be featured in the latest issue of the Georgetown Business Magazine 🎉 It was so much fun taking a trip down memory lane for this interview! As we reflected on our journey, so many amazing Hoyas have helped Alli Cavasino and I along the way. We met in Professor Agrawal’s Sustainable Business program, JoyLet was born as a group project for Professor Gamble’s Lean Startup class, we raised startup capital through amazing pitch competitions like Bark Tank, launched our pilot program with funding from the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance Alumni Pitch Competition and Georgetown angel investors, and built our team with Hoya talent – we truly are a Georgetown company through and through. We’re beyond grateful for all of the Hoyas (too many to tag!) who have supported our mission to make early parenthood easier and more sustainable. You’ve been there with advice, introductions, funding, and so much more when we really needed it – the McDonough community keeps us inspired to build a solution that families need IRL. TY, TY, TY 🙏 With the support of the Georgetown ecosystem behind us, we’re ready to grow and scale the JoyLet membership program and couldn’t be more excited for what’s next 🚀 Thanks for being on this ride with us. +++ Alli Cavasino Jeff Reid J.S.
