Scent Lab's biggest launch yet and I have never been prouder - we're LIVE with customizable perfume mist! The first of it's kind, mix & match your own custom scent potion in just a few clicks. We launched SIX core mists that can be used solo or blended together in one of our refillable potion bottles - think scalable customization ;) Today we go from a candle brand to a fragrance brand which is such a pivotal moment for me & the brand. Almost immediately after we launched in Nov 22, I quiely started development for perfume. It took a year & a half to nail down the formulations with our luxury fragrance house so that these scents were complex enough to stand on their own but also designed to be blendable & stackable. AND WE DID IT - IT'S HERE! I am exceptionally proud today - proud of the team around me, proud of the work we all poured into this & proud of the finished product. Not only do we unveil a new product line today but we also unveiled a new website, new packaging & extended brand work which is incredibly & thoughtfully executed thanks to my talented co-founder, Ali Kriegsman. The beauty industry and fragrance specifically, can often feel SO ASPIRATIONAL that it makes you feel like you need to be something you're not - if you wear x, you'll become y. We wanted to create a brand that is relatable, fun & celebrates you - who you are now, we're not in the business of selling you on someone you SHOULD be. You are enough. Most of which are Gen Z & Gen Alpha and I am so proud we are bringing this message to life for them. 📣 Exciting news! Paradromics has been accepted into the U.S. FDA’s newest accelerator program (TAP) and we have received our second Breakthrough Device Designation! These programs offer an expedited review process for transformative medical devices (like #BCIs 🧠). Matthew Willsey, MD, PhD, a leading neurosurgeon at the University of Michigan Medical School stated, “I’m excited to see BCI technologies, such as the Connexus® device, entering the clinical phase. Neurotech startup Paradromics Inc. will be putting its brain implant on trial next year, as the race to be the leader in the nascent brain-computer interface space heats up. “The brain is a super fascinating organ. We have about 85 billion neurons and every neuron is a million times slower than a computer chip. And yet, the brain does incredible things,” said Matt Angle, CEO and founder of Paradromics, in an interview with “CNBC Tech: The Edge.” “What that means is that if you want to get data in and out of the brain, you have to be able to talk to a ton of different neurons simultaneously. And that’s where the emphasis on building these high-speed, high-data-rate devices came from,” he added. The trial would follow competitor Neuralink’s move to implant a chip into a patient’s brain in March.
