Did you know that new data suggests that for almost 70% of people, their manager or team leader has more impact on their mental health than their therapist or their doctor—and it’s equal to the impact of their partner. For leaders, this data is sobering. In our Eden Lead Year we have found that what makes a healthy leader in Ministry and in the Marketplace is someone who is deeply self-aware, connected to God's love, connected to others, and has habits in place to maintain a healthy pace of life. The number 1 mistake people make when trying to work on growing as a leader is doing it alone. That is why we created the Eden Lead Year which is a one-year cohort based around 3 main retreats:   First, Knowledge of God: Encountering God as Better Than We Believed Him to Be.   Then, Knowledge of Self: Embracing the Beauty and Brokenness of Who We Are as the Beloved of God.  And Finally, Pace and Practice: Establishing a Pace and Practice for a Life of Relational Flourishing.    Give us a year and we promise to help you experience more of what you were made for in life and leadership. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/g67DQ5G2. The deadline to apply is June 30th.

Modern work is fueling a loneliness epidemic. Digital connections are rising, but personal ones are fading, leaving many workers isolated. What can help? Small talk, shared activities, and in-person interactions can significantly reduce loneliness. Prioritizing human connection at work isn’t just good for employees; it’s essential for a supportive workplace culture! Loneliness can be felt in both ministry and marketplace settings. Our Eden Lead Year is one of the main resources we have created to help support you in your healing and growth. It is one year of care and discipleship to help deepen your relationship with God, yourself, and others. A place to be known, loved, challenged, and safe.  If you have been looking for a discipleship program that focuses on developing you as a whole person then you should read more about our Eden Lead Year on our website: https://lnkd.in/g67DQ5G2

YOU were created in the image of a triune God—designed for deep connection in loving, attentive relationships. In our weekly Eden Chapters, we read our Eden Creed (12 grounding statements reminding us of who we are, who God is, and our relationship to Him and others. And then, we practice what we call a “Triad”. Eden Triads are an intentionally relational space to practice our humanity with a few trusted spiritual friends. The simple act of showing up and telling the truth to an empathetic listener who doesn’t leave is regenerative to the brain. You are the mission of Eden Project—a human being designed for the relationally rich soil of Eden. An Eden triad may be one of the ways the triune God leads you back home. It's completely free and open to anyone who wants to join.  Come check one out and see what it’s all about! Get a peek at what Triad practices look like here: https://lnkd.in/gcv7arib

Elizabeth Oldfield reminds us that empirical reasoning is only 1 tool our brains use for knowing the world alongside communal, emotional, embodied right hemispheric tools, which allows us to see the world more fully as it is! And to meet the God who is there if we pay attention.

God is our deliverer, an ever-present help in all times of need. And, awareness of our need is a precondition for relational connection. So, what do you need from God right now? Share this with someone else to remind them that God is also here today as a warrior to fight for them and deliver them through the pressures they're enduring.

Do you KNOW God or just KNOW ABOUT God? God loves you. Look up from the map and experience for yourself "how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ." (Ephesians 3:18) God is better than you believe him to be. Share this with someone who needs to hear it.
