Heads up, Cedar Roe users: Weather delays have extended the closure of the Cedar Roe Library one more day. We will now be reopening on Wednesday, July 10. On that day, the parking lot will be unavailable; visitors can park along side streets and enter the Library from sidewalks off Sycamore or 51st St. We anticipate reopening fully on Thursday, July 11. During the extended closure, we were also able to perform repairs to the parking lot and add an additional parking stall, avoiding a future closure to perform this work separately. We know this closure has been unexpectedly long and inconvenient for our patrons. We appreciate your patience and are looking forward to welcoming you back.

Holy dog-eared book, Batman! No judgement from us, only a PSA: when books are returned with turned-down corners like this, staff take time to return each of those pages to their original state. It may not seem like it, but that time can add up. A good thing, though: seeing this book reminded us to remind you that the annual @jclfriends bookmark contest is open and accepting entries until July 29. 😉🔖🎨 All ages can enter!
