Alaa Abu Al-Khair is among more than 250 humanitarian workers who have been killed since the onset of the Israel-Hamas war.
We are devastated to share that our colleague, Alaa Abu Al-Khair, was killed on July 19 in an IDF strike along with his wife, son, daughter and other members of his family. A second son survived, however his condition and status is unknown. Alaa joined the ILEED team in June as an IT Specialist. He and his family were displaced from Rafah to central #Gaza after the military ground operations began. He is among more than 250 humanitarian workers who have been killed since the onset of the war. The level of human suffering happening in Gaza is beyond comprehension. For him, his family and the innocent lives lost daily in this conflict, we continue to urgently call for a #ceasefire and adherence to international humanitarian laws.
