Since June 2014, Immigrant Heritage Month has celebrated America's diverse heritage. Instituto staff and family met with Chicago Mayor's Office & Deputy Mayor Beatriz Ponce de León to continue this tradition today. This luncheon showcased the vibrant immigrant communities that contribute to Chicago’s dynamism. It was an honor to be included in this event. We cannot thank Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson & the Office of Immigrant Rights & Refugees enough for your continued support of Instituto.

💫 Yesterday, we had more than 200 PayPal employees in the Chicago office to celebrate our first ever PayPal Impact Day. We came together to pack kits filled with items from local small businesses for two amazing nonprofit partners who are also our 2024 Community Impact Grant recipients— Hope Chicago and Instituto del Progreso Latino. As one of the office’s Community Impact co-leads, it was so energizing and inspiring to see our employees come together to support the Chicago community. I was honored to be part of an amazing dream team, including Michelle Miller, Taylor Lewis, Madeline Bielski, and Kristen (Shambo) Gutierrez, PMP, who made the day a huge success. I’m excited to work with this team to continue the impact! 💙 #PayPalImpactDay

We are thrilled to unveil the stunning mural created by volunteers from the Jewish United Fund and the talented local artist, Jodi Moll, during their Good Deeds Day event. The mural consists of three separate canvases: one featuring the Project AMOR logo and two adorned with vibrant heart designs inspired by the logo. The creative process was an absolute joy for everyone involved, these beautiful pieces will warmly welcome and bring happiness to all who visit Instituto. Thank you JUF for your continued support, partnership and to all who participated in making this project a success! For more information about Project AMOR please visit: https://lnkd.in/gedwyKuE
