Creating Equity in Entrepreneurship | Building bridges across the diaspora | Architecting growth strategies
Latinos face a brutal reality: a record wealth gap exceeding $1 million, the highest ever recorded. This seven-figure disparity in average wealth cripples economic mobility. Systemic barriers including limited career opportunities and access to capital - technical, social, and financial - create a cycle of inequity. The result? Building wealth feels impossible for many Latinos, jeopardizing homeownership, education, healthcare, and future opportunities. For many, entrepreneurship is a path to wealth, and Latinos are starting businesses at record rates. But ownership lags far behind – only 11% of small businesses and 5% with employees are Latino-owned. Even fewer reach the crucial $1 million annual revenue mark. This "gap within the gap" needs to close for true economic equality. Can we close this wealth gap and unlock true economic equality for Latinos? Share your thoughts in the comments below or send me a DM! Let’s connect. @Latino Leadership Institute #LatinosLead #LatinoEntrepreneurs #ClosingTheGap #EconomicEquality #leadership #Entrepreneurship #BusinessGrowth #Resilience #CapitalAccess
