About us
HPCIC has been Iredell County's nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider since 1984. We also have the only hospice in-patient facilities in the county, Gordon Hospice House in Statesville and S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville. We appreciate the support of our wonderful community, and give back through programs such as We Honor Veterans, Rainbow Kidz Pediatric Grief Counseling, and by providing care to uninsured patients.

We are always accepting donations for our Acts of Blessing Closet! This closet was started by one of our CNAs, Cassie Fielden, who recognized a need in our hospice and palliative care. We often find that our patients lack the basic necessities we all need. Some of the top needs include: sheets and comforters, nightgowns/pajamas, razors, and more. Help your neighbor in need by donating to our Acts of Blessing Closet! 3 ways to give to our Acts of Blessing Closet: 1. Purchase off of our Amazon wishlist. Click here to view the list: http://a.co/5D9a9tC Make sure the items are sent to 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625, with Acts of Blessing Closet as the recipient or in the notes. 2. Make a monetary donation. Select “Donate” on our website https://lnkd.in/ecXvWWYu, and specify in the comment that your donation is for the Acts of Blessing Closet. You can also drop off or mail in a check with “Acts of Blessing” in the memo. 3. Drop off new, unused items at our Statesville admin office, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.

We are grateful to be a recipient of the 2024 Missions Golf Tournament of First Presbyterian Church of Statesville, NC. We are honored to be recognized alongside Fifth Street Ministries, Purple Heart Homes, and the Salvation Army. First Presbyterian Church is the home church of our Director of Chaplaincy and Bereavement, Lynn Kunkle, and we are so thankful for all that they do for the community.
