Today was a special Father’s Day for me. I found myself remembering my father; and reflecting in depth about Father’s Day and fatherhood being that it was the first year that I had to live Father��s Day without mine in this world ; I thought to capture my thoughts and feelings in the style of some of my favorite poets in 3 languages I grew up with at 3 different stages of my life. In English, inspired by Robert Frost’s style here is my reflection about loving celebration of fatherhood: In the shade of the old oak tree, we gather, Reflecting on paths worn by fathers before. Your footsteps, steady, guiding us like the river, Through valleys of life, to every distant shore. Your voice, a gentle whisper in the breeze, Your hands, a sturdy bridge across the years. With love, you’ve built a home, a place of peace, A haven where laughter overcomes our fears. Today, we honor you, the quiet strength, The steady heart, the ever-watchful eye.
