Hammons Black Walnuts was a big hit in Canada this week during the CPMA show. Held in Vancouver, the event played host to retailers across the country. According to the Canadian government, some 70% of its consumers say they look for environmentally sustainable food. So it's no wonder that hand-harvested Wild Black Walnuts were a draw. In his own words: "From a purely nutritional perspective, wild black walnuts have a higher protein content than other commercial tree nut crops, and so our finished protein powder has—at 17 grams of protein per serving—more protein than other plant-based protein powders.
